Soluble fiber is found in Chia seeds, fruit, beans, & oat bran. Chia seeds are an amazing food that is one of my new favorite foods! Chia seeds increase volume of bulk in the colon therefore helping cleanse the colon. Soluble fiber binds cholesterol and takes it out of the body. It also slows down the release of sugars that are abosorbed by the body therefore reducing the risk of diabetes.

The lower esophageal muscle can be weakened by factors other than food. The following recommendations may be helpful in reducing symptoms:

1. Avoid chewing gum and hard candy. They increase the amount of swallowed air which, in turn, leads to belching and reflux.
3. Do not lie down immediately after eating. Avoid late evening snacks.
4. Avoid tight clothing and bending over after eating.
5. Eat small, frequent portions of food and snack if needed.
6. Lose weight if overweight. Obesity leads to increased reflux.
7. Elevate the head of the bed six to eight inches to prevent reflux when sleeping. Extra pillows, by themselves, are not very helpful.

Enema

Preparing For Enema

An enema can be done with ease without much preparation. It best done in the morning on an empty stomach and preferably after your typical bowel movement. Please also follow the instructions on the box of the enema kit.

How to take an Enema?
The best time for taking an Enema is in the morning 1-2 hours before breakfast or in the evening, 2 hours before or after dinner.
Fill stainless steel pot with water. Warm the water to be lukewarm (97oF-100oF). Check the temperature on your inner wrist like checking the milk in a babies bottle.
Hang the Enema bag from a height of a towel rack about 3 feet above you. While you typically lay down on the bathroom floor.
Apply olive oil to end of the enema catheter for lubrication.
Over the sink, toilet or tub turn the Enema nozzle on to ensure that water coming out of the catheter in free flow without any air bubbles. Then turn the nozzle off.
Now, practice the posture recommended in the enema instruction booklet, and slowly insert the lubricated Enema catheter approx. ½ – ¾ of its length into the rectum and turn the enema nozzle on. You will feel the water reaching in your upper rectum and left part of the intestine (colon).
If you feel the water is enough for intestine or if you experience the reflex to eliminate, then turn the Enema nozzle off.
If you feel that the water in your rectum is sufficient, turn the nozzle off and move the catheter out.
You can stop when you feel that you have released a good amount of fecal matter. This may take 15 minutes or up to an hour depending on the efficiency and tone of your colon. After one releases their fecal matter one can add 2 oz of chloroyphyll to the enema bag as an implant if desired.

How often to take an Enema?
Enemas can be taken a few times weekly.
But for a normal healthy person, looking for better health and well-being, one can take an Enema once a week. It is always better and convenient to practice it on weekends when you may have more time.

Hyper acidity or conditions of excess constipation indigestion.

People experiencing any of these conditions can take an enema two to three times a week or on alternate days for 1 Month to 3 months. Once the symptoms start disappearing and you begin to feel good, the frequency should be decreased and nature should be allowed to take over.

Note: Enema is not habit forming. Instead, after cleansing the large intestine, the intestine is actuated to perform better. The peristaltic movement (moment of contraction and relaxation of intestine which moves the fecal matter toward the rectum and Anus) also improves.

White Chia seeds are higher in Omega-3 Fatty Acids than Mexican Chia

White Chia seeds are higher in Protein & water absorption than Mexican Chia

They are also more aesthetically appealing in food preparation

There is controversy that there is any difference between the white or the black Chia seed.

Here is one physicians referral and why for Colon Hydrotherapy…

“In my practice, I recommend colonics when we are helping to improve a person’s detoxification process… Colonics improve the liver’s ability to cleanse itself. So, we see that colonics help people with allergies, chemical sensitivities, any immune system disfunction, heavy metal toxicity, and, of course, chronic constipation… The clients I’ve referred to Bella have all had great results.”

Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are a new amazing ingredient to my diet. I am having them in my Green drink almost every morning. I love their sustaining power. I actually feel completely satisfied when I have them.

2 tablespoons of Chia contains:

* As much calcium as several glasses of milk.
* More omega 3 than what is found in salmon
* 30% more antioxidants than blueberries.

And on top of this it has fantastic benefits that help you lose weight.

I add my Chia seeds to water let them sit for 10 minutes and then add them to my greens.

Chia seeds can be used whole, crushed, sprouted or as gel (soaked – becomes gelatinous).

Whole or crushed seeds can be sprinkled over cereal, salad or added to pots, baked goods or juices.
Crushed seeds will provide you with the most omega 3’s. They have a nutty flavor this way.

Chia gel gives your food a thicker or viscous texture and a nutritional boost. Chia seeds do not contain gluten, it has no taste and it has very few calories. You can make your favorite smoothie with 50-70% chia gel or add it any creamy of liquid food such as pudding, jelly, salad dressing and so on. This way you are creating a nutritious food with a gelatinous quality.

You can use the whole seeds as a thickening agent when you’re cooking. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and stir thoroughly. Then turn down the heat and wait for a couple of minutes to the chia to take effect.

How to make Chia gel:

1. Use 1 part seeds and 9 parts water.
2. Put the water in a clean container and slowly stir in the seeds. Stirring is important though as it can get clumpy.
3. Wait 5 min then stir again.
4. Wait 10 min then stir for the last time.

The gel will last up to 14 days in the fridge.

Add Chia to your diet at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

* Add a tablespoon to your juice or water and stir
* Sprinkle the seeds over your salad.
* Crush them and add them when you bake.
* Use them to thicken your sauces and soups.
* Make gel and use it in dressings.
* Super charge you jelly by mixing it 50/50 with chia gel.

The amazing Chia seed is a truly nourishing and fantastic food that makes you healthy and thin.
